Resources available 2001/2 - 4 month shutdown – no shifts. n 2002/3 - 6 month shutdown? ? n n Remember some time is invested in training etc. (as for any other group)

What doesn’t work…. n n Principal problems – Supervision of work + lack of sufficient technical support New second job – new post n n Operator needs to know what to do, how etc… Clear specification, sufficient technical help Needs more supervision!!!! Lack of sufficient support n n n work does not get done, waste a lot of time, create frustration

Work plan n n Establish work plan – Agreed between OP Supervisor, “Client”, “Support” & Operator Define how, when…. Include time available for other activities Define how work assessment is done (MOAS)
Conclusion n n Resources are available Put together tasks + people You don’t get something for nothing. Need to clearly define the tasks Operators taking on a new task need better supervision & technical support (both OP and other groups)
