Proper Care for the Eyes Read in a well-lighted place.
Do not read while in a moving vehicle.
Rest your eyes when they are tired.
Observe proper distance when watching television.
Eat vitamin A-rich foods such as squash, potatoes, carrots, eggs, cheese and spinach
Never look directly at the sun or at a very bright light.
Do not rub your eyes to avoid irritating them.
Consult an ophthalmologist or optometrist when you experience any sight problems.
Clean your ears regularly with a clean cloth or with cotton buds.
Keep the volume of your radio, television and other sound devices low.
Stay away from exploding firecrackers.
When swimming or diving, protect the eardrums by wearing a cap, or using earplugs.
If you have hearing problems, go to an ear doctor for checkup.
There are people who are not lucky to see the beautiful creations of God. How will you help them appreciate life in spite of their inability to see?
