Tabletops Update • GA International Authorizations and Tabletop Exercises Working Group (NBAA, FAA) – Look at the guidance used by POIs and SAOs to review applications for authorizations that require Table Top Validations – Determine solutions to improve the entire process – Improve consistency in how the guidance is applied for Table Top Validations • Intended Outcome is to clearly define: – Which special authorizations require a tabletop exercise for approval for 91 and 135 operators – What can be expected during a tabletop exercise – Which special authorizations require an international operations manual – What is required to be contained in an international operations manual Federal Aviation Administration 3
