Example types: This could be checking an airport website for flight times and if they’ve been delayed An app that updates you about traffic status A bus stop to tell you about times Benefits: Keeps you up to date with news, traffic situations and weather Helps you to plan future journeys Companies can use these systems to advertise

Commerce This service is usually more related to money than the others. The service gives you the ability to purchase items or check your bank balance. Example types: This could be checking your bank balance via a website Purchasing items via a website Benefits: Allows you to buy products from the comfort of your own home A quick and simple way of buying and having your shopping delivered to your home.

Government This service allows you to access opportunities like online tax returns from the internet. Example types: An example could be voting online (known as e-voting) Applying for a grant Benefits: The benefits are that it is hassle-free, you don’t have to go out to put in an application for a grant.
