Online Captain’s Meeting
Captain’s Responsibilities Fill out team’s Time Preferences Know and understand Intramural policies and rules -TEAM NAMES Maintain control of all team members Serve as team spokesperson before, during and after Intramural events Insure all team members are eligible Respond to any emails/phone calls from IM and formally added to roster Office in a prompt manner -If not on roster they may be added on the field/court but must have an IMLeagues account already created.
Schedules All schedules will be on IMLeagues o IMLeagues App is a helpful tool, along with the RSVP option & game reminders. o Typically will only play once a week. There will be a google doc with open field times that teams can sign up to play additional games which could cause you to play more than once a week, however, that will be your choice. o Detailed Time Preferences will show you what specific days we are playing on; it will also allow you to be more detailed in your team’s availability to play which is especially helpful if your team is comprised of one school i. e. Law School, Med School etc and you have exams or conferences on days you are typically available to play with your general time preferences. o Your schedule will be based off of your time preferences while also factoring in the other team’s time preferences to find a common playing time. This means you may not play on the same day/time each week, or you could possibly have one game outside of your time preferences depending on how much or how little your team is available to play as indicated by your Time Preferences o If you are playing a weekend/single day tournament, the schedule & bracket will be on IMLeagues and cannot be rescheduled. o If you have teams that are playing in multiple sports that have the same rosters it would be helpful on your time preferences to only mark certain days available for each sport. IMLeagues will not cross references rosters & schedules across multiple sports. Ex. Marking Ultimate Frisbee available on Sundays & Mondays, Flag Football Available on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and Soccer available on Saturdays & Fridays would help greatly in making your regular season games not overlap.
