ECR Summary § BGC ECR is split into two parts • Stage 1 – Interaction chamber • Stage 2 – Gas generation, pumping, and optical system. § Stage 1 of the ECR has been approved at LHC Machine Committee (LMC) § Installation proposed on LHC Beam 1 (internal) at B 5 L 4.
