Once Saved, Always Saved?

Accepting Christ • Philippians 2: 5 • We must also agree with Christ • James 2: 19 -20 • Faith alone isn’t enough • Acts 19: 13 -15 • Cannot go through the motions and just “call on the name of the Lord”

The Gift Is Eternal • 1 John 2: 25 • The promise is eternal • 1 Peter 1: 23 • Christ is incorruptible, we are not • John 15: 1 -2 • Fruitless branches in Christ will be taken away

Verses in “Support” of OSAS • John 10: 27 -29 • No one can snatch us away, but we can leave (it is in our control) • Ephesians 1: 13 -14 • The Holy Spirit is our guarantee, but we do not read that we cannot lose the Holy Spirit • Romans 8: 38 -39 • Outside forces can not remove us from God, but what about internal forces (our own choices)
