On the morning of September 11, 2001, being 8: 00 am Flight 11 "American Airlines' takes off from Boston's Logan International Airport to Los Angeles, and at 8: 46 embedded into the north tower of World Trade Center.
United Airlines Flight 175 takes off from Boston's Logan International airport bound for Los Angeles at 8: 14 am with 65 people aboard. As the 9: 02 a. m. flight hits the South Tower of World Trade Center, this was already captured live by television stations that were deferential because the intense smoke that arose as soon as it happened in the North Tower.
The South Tower fell at 9: 59 a. m. (local time in New York), after being on fire for 56 minutes in a fire caused by the impact of United Airlines Flight 175 at 9: 03 a. m. The North Tower fell at 10: 28 a. m. after being on fire about 102 minutes in a fire caused by the impact of American Airlines Flight 11 at 8: 46 a. m.
One World Trade Center The main building will have a height of 1776 feet (541 meters), coinciding with the date of independence from the United States (July 4, 1776) hence its name. The rooftop observation deck will not be at the top but at 417 meters, which equals the highest of the Twin Towers.
