What is On Demand Writing? On Demand Writing is the practice of responding to a writing prompt by analyzing its purpose, identifying the audience, and organizing/finding evidence.

Analyze Prompt Analyzing the prompt means to carefully read and orally restate (use your own words) what you are being asked to do. It is also important to underline any direction words (e. g. , compare, describe, persuade). You should also circle any topic words that state the topic and specify what should be addressed.
