Suggestions… • Can respite be provided in local communities / by local communities? • Enforce rights people have in legislation such as new carers act and SDS act. • Untapped volunteering stream - use for prevention work - reducing inequalities. • Community is central to the planning of activity. • Use common sense! People in Black Isle put to Ross Memorial hospital, though most people work in Inverness and no public transport from most of Black Isle to Dingwall.
