CONTRACTOR SCOPE Budgeting for Signage • Removal of existing signage • New Interior signage and wayfinding • Installation of new or returned signage • Consider phasing/multiple installations 36
CONTRACTOR SCOPE Scheduling for Signage • New sign frames typically have an eight week lead time • Signage Vendor to remove all existing signage if new standard is present • Pre-install walk-throughs can be scheduled with Vendor on large and/or complex projects • Installation to occur after substantial completion • See also Submittal Process 37

SUBMITTAL PROCESS CONTRACTOR • Submits Sign Locator Plan (PDF) and Sign Message Schedule (XLS) to Signage Vendor 39
SUBMITTAL PROCESS SIGNAGE VENDOR 40 • Submits a “Proof” (shop drawing) to Contractor • Service Level Agreement is two weeks per revision
SUBMITTAL PROCESS CONTRACTOR • Reviews Proof and marks up as needed • Submits Proof to Architect via e. B 41
