ODYSSEY OF THE MIND Challenge Your Mind and Have a Great Time Doing It! We’re looking for kids who like to think “outside of the box”, enjoy teamwork, and parents who want to help! • • • Parent information night will be Wednesday, September 21 st from 7 -8 in the Tolbert gym Website to learn more about this program: www. odysseyofthemind. com Any student in Kindergarten through 5 th grade can participate – Time commitment one day/week, possibly 2 as you get closer to the competition Parents: We need coaches and assistant coaches - it’s not hard and it’s fun, come learn more! – For all Tolbert parents interested in coaching there will be training in October – Deadline for expressing interest - October 1 st for kids and coaches If you are unable to attend the information night, but would like to participate in Odyssey of the Mind- please email the information below to traci. jovanovic@verizon. net by October 1 st. The number of children who may participate is dependent upon the number of parents who volunteer as coaches – it really is lots of fun, but requires commitment!
