ODH Classification of the FD Building Level 1
ODH Classification of the FD Building – Level 1 ODH Restrictions will start during the week of January 27 when we will start flowing Nitrogen gas in the warm vessel. • • For people staying at the ground level there are no particular requirements. People going below grade have to be ODH trained, provided with a personal ODH sensor and there has to be at least another person in the building – Further restrictions will be effective from the moment we start to circulate liquid Nitrogen in the cold shields (week of February 10) to the end of the filling. • • In general, access to the building will be restricted to people involved in the cryogenic commissioning. On a case by case basis, access could be granted for interventions on the detector, for a very limited amount of time. People from the Collaboration, ODH trained, have to be accompanied by a responsible from the cryogenic team, be provided both with a portable ODH sensor and a portable breathing device. – Restrictions will be progressively released after the final pneumatic test of the cold vessels down to standard ODH class 1. 1 01/16/20 Michael Geynisman| ICARUS | Jan 2020
