Ode To A Marshmallow

At the end of my stick, there’s a marshmallow, a marshmallow. At the end of my stick, there’s a marshmallow. I’ll toast it golden brown.

Now I’m holding my stick just above the fire, above the fire. Now I’m holding my stick just above the fire. I hope it’s not too close.

I’m afraid that I held it a bit too close, a bit too close. I’m afraid that I held it a bit too close, ‘cause now it’s caught on fire!

I’m afraid that I held it a bit too close, a bit too close. I’m afraid that I held it a bit too close, ‘cause now it’s caught on fire!

I’m afraid that I held it a bit too close, a bit too close. I’m afraid that I held it a bit too close, ‘cause now it’s caught on fire!

Whoa! Somebody call the fire department!

Oh, my marshmallow turned into a big black blob, a big black blob. Oh, my marshmallow turned into a big black blob. It’s drooping from my stick.

Oh, my marshmallow turned into a big black blob, a big black blob. Oh, my marshmallow turned into a big black blob. It’s drooping from my stick.

Oh, my marshmallow turned into a big black blob, a big black blob. Oh, my marshmallow turned into a big black blob. It’s drooping from my stick.

Well, the blob took a plunge into our nice campfire, our nice campfire. Well, the blob took a plunge into our nice campfire and roasted to a crisp.

So I need to get another marshmallow, a marshmallow. So I need to get another marshmallow, and try to get it right!

I hope I don’t burn this one.

At the end of my stick, there’s a marshmallow, a marshmallow. At the end of my stick, there’s a marshmallow. I’ll toast it golden brown.

(Yum!)
