October 14, 2019 to October 18, 2019 Ms. Saglimbeni Pre – K 3 nsaglimbeni@stlucys. org 718 -882 -2203 This week we will discuss the different ways people feel / show emotion. The students will also explore more about their emotions by reading various feelings books and through various crafts. By the end of the feelings / emotions discussion, the students will be able to identify what our feelings are and how to express them. It is mandated by the New York City Department of Education that Pre – K For All students MUST receive the influenza vaccine. The DOE mandates that all students must be vaccinated by December 31, 2019. In order for your child to return to school after Christmas Break (Monday, January 6, 2020), please submit documentation stating that your child has received the vaccine prior to that date. DATES IMPORTAN T At home, you can help too. Talk to your child about activities they did in school and ask open-ended questions. Ask them what makes them special, who is in our family, what would you like to be when you grow up, what features do you have. Talk to your child about family culture and traditions. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to work together.
