CMRE Response to AIP-7 CFP • Engagement with the GEOSS community – Best practice on building a standard based, open source and open data processing chain, addressing Climate Change and Weather societal benefits – A proof of concept for the porting of a complex and widely used forecasting model to a Cloud Computing environment, i. e. the Regional Observation Modeling System which can now be invoked via OGC WPS for compute-intensive tasks – The modeling outputs are derived by applying this service against existing GEO contributions, e. g. the MFS model available through My.
