Occupational and Environmental Health Program • Purpose – Protect Health of members while enhancing combat and operational capabilities – Mitigate OEH-related risks (risk management) • MDG/CC Responsibilities – Responsible for OEH Program (including GSUs) – Assigns(in writing) OEH Medical Consultant and, Chair OEHWG (usually SGP) – Ensures OEHMC (or designated full-time rep) attends Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) Working Group

Occupational and Environmental Health Program • SGP Responsibilities – Leads Aerospace Medicine execution of OEH Program – Establishes OEHWG under the direction of the AMC – Ensures, at a minimum, the following reps participate in OEHWG • FM • BE • PH – Ensures integration of OEHWG activities with Safety, CE, Fire and Emergency Services, Injury Compensation Specialist & HRO – Ensures appropriate Medical Surveillance Examination (MSE) are accomplished IAW AFI 48 -145 paragraph 4. 4 – Ensures MSEs are conducted based on recommendations from OEHWG
