► On January 19, 2007, the Haiti Democracy Project’s election observers presented at the Supreme Court
► In attendance was Therese Tracy, a desk officer from the State Department’s Democracy and Human Rights bureau
► She invited the observers to come to the State Department to brief Jonathan Farrar, the principal deputy assistant secretary of state at her bureau
