OBJECTIVE Improve Data Sharing and Accessibility KEY RESULTS

OBJECTIVE Improve Data Sharing and Accessibility KEY RESULTS 1. Create and deploy a survey to assess government entity access of the Framework data in the Spatial Data Library. (Baseline metric) STATUS: Survey complete Jan. 31; baseline available after survey results analyzed 2. Work with the Department of Revenue to increase the number of counties sharing taxlot data with the Department in specified, standard format from 24 to 31. STATUS: 25 counties compliant now; DOR reported on all counties & work to be done Ask DOR to share compliance report/recommendations with OGIC; OGIC/PAC work with DOR to recommend prioritization of counties to improve compliance OGIC assist DOR in communicating with high priority counties to encourage compliance This approach could be model for other Framework data sets

OBJECTIVE Increase Data Stewardship KEY RESULTS 1. Increase the number of Framework data sets that are under stewardship from 6 to 11. STATUS: Stewardship previously - Roads, tax lots, cities, counties, hydro, UGBs Added addresses, fish habitat distribution, land use, zoning Engage FIT Leads to assist identifying stewards; package address story as good example 2. Work with existing data stewards to determine number of communication contacts with data providers. (Baseline metric) STATUS: No progress Clarify what is meant by ‘communication contacts’ and ‘data providers’ Document communication contacts w/providers as key in stewardship agreements Consistent communications = better results

OBJECTIVE Expand Collaborative Governance KEY RESULTS 1. Reduce the number of position openings on the 23 -position OGIC from 5 to 1. STATUS: Decreased from 5 to 3; lost one, so total vacancies now stand at 4, soon to be 5 2. Increase the number of data governance process studies with Local Governments from 1 to 5. STATUS: Increased by 2 – roads data governance process studies with LCOG & Metro 3. Increase the number of data governance process studies with State Agencies from 1 to 5. STATUS: Increased by 1 – roads data governance process study with ODOT OGIC make outreach to enterprise on data governance studies; seek to inform data governance framework development with CDO; will undertake 3 more studies in summer

OBJECTIVE Strengthen Communications KEY RESULTS 1. Communicate with the 5 counties that don’t share taxlot data about why that data is so important for other public bodies to access. STATUS: No progress Tom Rohlfing met with Washington Co; strategy to get Wash. Co to share, then work with others (Douglas, Malheur, Sherman, Wallowa) 2. Create 1 communication packet focused on data governance STATUS: No progress Work with CDO; use address stewardship as successful use case for data governance need Talk to LCOG about roads as additional successful use case for need Create online location for this and other communications materials

OBJECTIVE Support Sustainable Funding KEY RESULTS 1. Increase progress toward complete planning for GDMS project from 10% to 100% STATUS: Approximately 50% complete 2. Increase access to the datasets identified as necessary to complete the evaluation projects from 47% to 55%. STATUS: No progress Publish list of needed data & indicate current accessibility OGIC will offer input on prioritization to meet metric NOTES: Update OKR dashboard at least monthly; consider ROI as KR next cycle
