ABOUT THE CHARACTERS • Husband wife in the late 30's / 40's • Alan has during the weekend and his wife didn’t want to tell him to spoil his weekend • Both in their pajamas for the most part • Alan has a funny sense of humor as does Lisa but you don’t see too much of it until the funeral.
PLAN • Drama will be filmed over 2 days with about 5/6 hours of filming each day. • LOCATION: The home scene will be filmed in my own home in Glasgow ( travel by bus) • For the coffin, I have learned from google on how to build a basic one, or I have a family friend who says I can hire a coffin for the day.
AMENDMENTS TO THE SCRIPT • I am going to add a longer scene in the beginning just of Alan waking up, making some breakfast, boiling the kettle etc just the kind of thing you do in the morning. • Added a few extra lines of dialogue.
PROPS • Newspaper that contains obituary • Wooly dressing gowns • Mugs/ typical kitchen essentials • A coffin- will be made by myself, or hired by a family friend who owns a funeral home. • Pajamas, a black dress for Lisa for funeral and a suit for Alan.
