Authentic – The ad was not authentic in the fact that he did not accomplished all the promises, for example the unemployment rate remained the same. Respectful – The ad was based on support and had no intentions of crossing or compromising the barrier of respect with any other political party or the citizens itself. Equity – The announcement was fair; he strove to achieve all the he promised. Social Responsibility – As a social responsibility strategy he used as a hook the investment on education for children which he accomplished by creating plenty charter schools, renovating public schools, and providing funds for public education.
Ethical Theories Deontological Theory Right Theory
Conclusion Obama fulfilled most of the things he proposed, including Medicaid, the raise of wage and the balance of gas price in the island. Also, he established topics and numbers were true and accurate, there were no fact checking problems. The least ethical part of the ad was the fact the he did not mentioned Hawaii in order to avoid controversy and that is well understood as Hawaii has been the only island promoted as a state in the history of time. The announcement is ethical.
