Oakwood High Schools Virtual Lockdown Awards Congratulations and well done to all the pupils that received a nomination at our Virtual Lockdown Awards Ceremony on Thursday 15 th October. A special thank you to the pupils that recorded performances to play throughout the ceremony; Grace Dearing, Lily Lambert, Jenson Moors Roebuck, Pari Ali, Grace Bayliss, Nancy Creswell, Kirk Widdop and Melody Zahedipour. Pupils were nominated by staff for their work and efforts during the lockdown period. The two main categories were; Oakstanding Work - producing an exceptional piece of work, or being an Oakstanding Home Learner, which saw pupils being rewarded for their consistency and efforts with their home learning from April to July. There was also an award for our Oakstanding Lockdown Citizen, this was for pupils that did something over and above to support their families or community during this difficult time.
