NYSED CTE PATHWAY What is a CTE Pathway? Who is Eligible? Only students who are pursuing an approved CTE course of study: • Be enrolled in a NYSED approved CTE program of study - that is 3. 5 (7 – NYC) or more credits in length (http: //www. p 12. nysed. gov/ctepolicy/) • Pass the four required NYS Regents examinations and meet graduation requirements; and • Take and pass one additional examination from NYSED approved technical assessments that have been approved for use in the “ 4+1” Regents exam option (beginning June 2015) • Currently, students may earn up to 8 integrated academic credits in approved CTE programs.

NYSED CDOS PATHWAY What is the CDOS Pathway? Who is Eligible? (Effective June 2016) The CDOS Pathway is the newest 4 + 1 pathway toward graduation. All students are eligible for this pathway regardless of their course of study. Pursuing a CDOS pathway requires that student: • Meet all NYS graduation requirements and pass the four required Regents examinations and • Meet the requirements to earn the New York State CDOS Commencement Credential known as Option #1 or Option #2
