COVID-19 Nursing Admission & Shift Assessment Streamlining Documentation BLUF: Standardized essential data set increases patient surveillance and direct care while reducing time for documentation & enhancing early identification of patient status changes. • Focus: Acute care medical- surgical/telemetry/intermediate • Goal: Decrease admission per patient from 1 hour to 15 minutes • Goal: Decrease shift assessment documentation per patient from 1 hour to maximum of 15 minutes • Test sites: Available by April 3, 2020 to Bronx, Nashville, North Florida, Phoenix, Las Vegas • Feedback and any revisions with national dissemination no later than April 13, 2020 • Mail group established for questions and inserted into template design • TJC compliant via development of National Standard Operating Procedures
