Medication Requirements #Champions. Begin. Here ● Students are NOT allowed to transport any medication to or from school. ● All medications must be brought to the campus front office by parent/legal guardian. A permission slip must be signed before the medication can be given at school. ● Please give morning medications at home. ● Over-the-counter medications will not be given to a child without a signed note from a physician. ● All medications must be in their original container. Prescription medication must have original prescription and that is how medication will be given. ● If your child has asthma, we will administer meter-dose inhalers. We will not administer nebulizer treatments this school year.

Here Feeling feverish, OR temperature of 100 F or higher Chills Muscle pain Headache Symptoms of respiratory infection, such as cough or shortness of breath Sore throat Nausea/vomiting Diarrhea Loss of taste or smell Regular or close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed COVID 19.

Here ● All parents are responsible to provide their child with an extra change of clothes for potty accidents. ● Every student will be required to bring their own labeled water bottle to school. The water bottles must have a lid. ● All parents are responsible for ensuring that a daily self-screening of each student occurs prior to coming to school or boarding school transportation. ● Students Pre-K through 3 rd are required to wear face masks in common areas such as hallways, cafeteria, entering and exiting buildings, library, office, and when they are referred to the clinic. Pre-K through 3 rd grade students are not required to wear face masks in class. However, it is recommended. ● Parents are to provide their student with a face mask.
Protocols ● An individual who was diagnosed with COVID-19, the individual may return to school when ALL three of the following criteria are met: ○ At least one day (24 hours) have passed since recovery (resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications) The individual has improved symptoms (e. g. , cough, shortness of breath) ○ At least ten days have passed since symptoms first appeared ○ ● An Individual who has COVID-19 symptoms who has not been evaluated by a medical professional or tested for COVID-19. This person is assumed to have COVID-19 and may not return to campus until the same three step criteria listed above are completed. ● #Champions. Begin. Here An Individual has symptoms that could be COVID-19 and wants to return to school before completing the above stay at home period they must either: ○ Obtain a Medical Professional’s note clearing the individual for return based on an alternative diagnosis (must be turned into school nurse) ○ Receive two separate confirmations at least 24 hours apart that they are free of COVID 19 via acute infection tests at an approved testing location (must be turned into school nurse) **These guidelines are subject to change based on CDC and TDSHS updates.

Here ● Students exposed to COVID-19 are to quarantine for 14 days. ● To be considered exposed to COVID-19, you need to have prolonged close contact with a person who has the virus. ● Close contact includes living in the same household, caring for a sick person with the virus, being within 6 feet of a sick person with the virus for at least 10 continuous minutes without the use of a face covering, or being in direct contact with secretions from the sick person. For example: ○ Individuals who, while not wearing a mask, has had close contact (within 6 feet for 10 minutes or longer) with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 2 days prior to the person developing symptoms and/or testing positive. ○ Individuals who provided care at home to someone who is sick with COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms. ○ Individuals who had direct physical contact with someone who has COVID-19 including touched, hugged, or kissed them, shared eating or drinking utensils, or were sneezed or coughed on by the sick person while they had symptoms or within 2 days of the sick person developing symptoms and/or testing positive. **These guidelines are subject to change based on CDC and TDSHS updates.
