Review: Numbers under 1, 000 Teens / Tens § When saying numbers 13 -19, we stress (say strongly to show it is important) the teen part of the word. § When saying tens (e. g. , 30, 40, 50) we the first part of the word. § thirteen / thirty § eighteen / eighty Hundreds § 153 = one hundred (and) fifty-three § 100 = one hundred § 702 = seven hundred (and) two § 690 = six hundred (and) ninety § 321 = three hundred (and) twenty-one * Remember! Some people say ‘and’ with the number, but some people do not say ‘and’.
