Numbers 13 1 33 1 And the Lord

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 1 耶和華曉諭摩西說： And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “你打發人去窺探我所賜給以色列人的迦南地， 他們每支派中要打發一個人，都要作首領的。” “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them. ”

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 3 摩西就照耶和華的吩咐，從巴蘭的曠野打發他 們去，他們都是以色列人的族長。 So Moses sent them from the Wilderness of Paran according to the command of the Lord, all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel. 4 他們的名字：屬流便支派的，有撒刻的兒子沙 母亞； Now these were their names: from the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur;

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 8 屬以法蓮支派的，有嫩的兒子何西阿； from the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Nun; 9 屬便雅憫支派的，有拉孚的兒子帕提； from the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu; 10 屬西布倫支派的，有梭底的兒子迦叠； from the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi;

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 14 屬拿弗他利支派的，有縛西的兒子拿比； from the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi; 15 屬迦得支派的，有瑪基的兒子臼利。 from the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi. 16 這就是摩西所打發窺探那地之人的名字。摩西就 稱嫩的兒子何西阿爲約書亞。 These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun, Joshua.

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 17 摩西打發他們去窺探迦南地，說：“你們從 南地上山地去， Then Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, “Go up this way into the South, and go up to the mountains, 18 看那地如何？其中所住的民是强是弱，是多 是少， and see what the land is like: whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, few or many;

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 19 所住之地是好是歹，所住之處是營盤是堅城。 whether the land they dwell in is good or bad; whether the cities they inhabit are like camps or strongholds; 20 又看那地土是肥美是瘠薄，其中有樹木沒有？你們要 放開膽量，把那地的果子帶些來。”那時正是葡萄初熟的 時候。 whether the land is rich or poor; and whethere are forests there or not. Be of good courage. And bring some of the fruit of the land. ” Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes.

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 21 他們上去窺探那地，從尋的曠野到利合，直到哈馬口。 So they went up and spied out the land from the Wilderness of Zin as far as Rehob, near the entrance of Hamath. 22 他們從南地上去，到了希伯侖，在那裏有亞衲族人亞 希幔、示篩、撻買。原來希伯侖城被建造比埃及的瑣安城 早七年。 And they went up through the South and came to Hebron; Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, were there. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt. )

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 23 他們到了以實各穀，從那裏砍了葡萄樹的一枝，上頭 有一挂葡萄，兩個人用杠抬著，又帶了些石榴和無花果來。 Then they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs. 24 因爲以色列人從那裏砍來的那挂葡萄，所以那地方叫 作以實各穀。 The place was called the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the men of Israel cut down there.

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 25 過了四十天，他們窺探那地才回來。 And they returned from spying out the land after forty days. 26 到了巴蘭曠野的加低斯，見摩西、亞倫幷以色列的全 會衆，回報摩西、亞倫幷全會衆，又把那地的果子給他們 看。 Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 27 又告訴摩西說：“我們到了你所打發我們去的那 地，果然是流奶與蜜之地，這就是那地的果子。 Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28 然而住那地的民强壯，城邑也堅固寬大，幷且我 們在那裏看見了亞衲族的人。 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there.

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 29 亞瑪力人住在南地；赫人、耶布斯人、亞摩利人住在 山地；迦南人住在海邊，幷約旦河旁。” The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan. ” 30 迦勒在摩西面前安撫百姓，說：“我們立刻上去得那 地吧！我們足能得勝。” Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it. ”

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 31 但那些和他同去的人說：“我們不能上去攻擊那民，因爲他 們比我們强壯。” But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we. ” 32 探子中有人論到所窺探之地，向以色列人報惡信，說：“我 們所窺探經過之地，是吞吃居民之地，我們在那裏所看見的人民 都身量高大。 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.

【民數記 Numbers 13: 1 -33】 33 我們在那裏看見亞衲族人，就是偉人，他 們是偉人的後裔。據我們看自己就如蚱蜢一 樣，據他們看我們也是如此。” There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight. ”

�窺探的起因 � 信心缺乏 【申Deuteronomy 1: 21 -22】 21 看哪，耶和華你的 神已將那地擺在你面前， 你要照耶和華你列祖的 神所說的上去得那地爲 業，不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。’ Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged. ’

�窺探的起因 � 信心缺乏 【申Deuteronomy 1: 21 -22】 22 你們都就近我來，說：‘我們要先打發人去，爲我們 窺探那地，將我們上去該走何道，必進何城，都回報我們。 ’ “And every one of you came near to me and said, ‘Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come. ’

【希伯來書 Hebrews 3: 7 -11】 7 聖靈有話說：“你們今日若聽他的話， Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, 8 就不可硬著心，像在曠野惹他發怒、試探他的時候一樣。 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, 9 在那裏，你們的祖宗試我探我，幷且觀看我的作爲有四 十年之久。 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years.

【希伯來書 Hebrews 3: 7 -11】 10 所以我厌烦那世代的人，说：‘他们心里常 常迷糊，竟不晓得我的作为！’ Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways. ’ 11 我就在怒中起誓说：‘他们断不可进入我的 安息。’” So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest. ’”

�膽怯的下場 【啓示錄 Revelation 21: 7 -8】 7 得勝的，必承受這些爲業。我要作他的神，他要作我的兒子。 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 惟有膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、 拜偶像的和一切說謊話的，他們的份就在燒著硫磺的火湖裏， 這是第二次的死。” But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. ”
