Standard Jobs • Planned maintenance for vessel equipment is tracked weekly in the NS 5 as Standard Jobs. • Standard jobs are vessel specific and are created/ approved by the Port Engineer.

Each week, the Chief Engineer will need to open the maintenance plan to see

Open the Maintenance Plan • Click on the Maintenance Plan icon on the top

Open the Maintenance Plan • Click on the Maintenance Plan icon on the top left of your screen

NS 5 lists the standard jobs in the maintenance plan when they are due.

The PM column is for Preventative maintenance. Standard Jobs are indicated with a Y

Job Types SJ: “standard job”-a preventative maintenance job that is done on a regular

Job Types NAJ: “no action job” that cannot be done at this time. Port

Any column in NS 5 can be sorted by clicking once on the column heading This one has been sorted alphabetically by clicking on the Job Title.

The Maintenance Plan can be exported as an Excel file, saved as a pdf or printed out. Click the right arrow box at the top right corner of any NS 5 table for a list of options.
