Controlled Substances n A drug or substance or immediate precursor listed in schedules I through V, inclusive.
Drug Defined: n Substances intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in man or animals. n Other than food.

Most Schedule II – V substances are evaluated on the following factors: n On-set: the amount of time it takes to feel the effect. n Duration: how long the feeling lasts n Severity: the intensity, initial rush, and sustained level of euphoria.
