NOUNS A noun refers to or names something, which may be a person, place, thing, idea, animal, quality and a point in time. It is usually define as a word denoting quality or action and functioning in a sentence. The word “noun” is a noun itself. Together with verbs, nouns are the principal elements of a sentence.
