Our department has implemented the following programs to effectively address student safety on and around campus. We implemented a new computerized software enabling information sharing program with GPD and other law enforcement agencies. The communications center was greatly enhanced with the upgrade of additional CCTV software, cameras and monitors. Six new officers have been hired. These officers use patrol techniques by way of foot, bike and Segway patrols. A Robbery Response Task Force was formed to deter possible acts of robbery and other potential crimes.
