Objectives of the Partnership • Facilitate institutional change to enhance research and educational capabilities • Facilitate integration of Research and Education across disciplines • Broaden student experience and integration of students into the STC and wider community of science STC Broadening Participation Workshop
STC partnership with MDITR 3 formal components • Seed grant funding for research Photovoltaic materials and devices - flexible with high efficiency • Support for development of Ph. D in Materials Science and Engineering at NSU – additional course development and implementation – Video conferencing and live onsite lectures from STC faculty • Faculty development and faciltated institutional change – Sabbatical leave for faculty and hosting of faculty student teams – Administrator Discussion groups for Deans and VPAA – Participation in state approval process STC Broadening Participation Workshop
