Current Status n 2009 Budget – Cut of 8% to state aid (originally 10%) – NJKI cut 1. 39 million (over last 2 years) n 2010 Budget – All departments told to submit strategies for budget cuts of 20% n Local Issues – Municipal Funding Cap continues to create pressure for local government – League of Municipalities trying to reduce 1/3 mill minimum funding requirement to 1/6 mill
