The Netherlands & CERN’s research program (LHC) is NIKHEF’s top priority FOM Strategic Plan

The Netherlands & CERN’s research program (LHC) is NIKHEF’s top priority FOM Strategic Plan 2004 -2010 The existence of a ‘home base’, as in the case of high-energy physics (NIKHEF), …, ensures that Dutch researchers are able to benefit to the full from the possibilities offered by large facilities. This situation is vitally important for Dutch research …. Large Research Facilities KNAW report 2004 Because we need young people for tomorrow’s breakthroughs in physics. I wish CERN and the physics community great success. 2 Here’s to another fifty years! (OCW Minister Maria v/d Hoeven)
