Night Audit Guide, 1701 Night Audit Introduction A. Overview Night auditors are hotel team members who work at the front desk on the shift from late night to early morning. Although the night auditor appears to our guests to be one of our guest service agents, he or she has additional responsibilities and duties that require unique skills. The night auditor performs all the duties of a guest service agent (including front office operations telephone services, reservations, guest transportation, special guest services, guest check-in and check-out) and special financial and reporting duties only performed by a night auditor.
