+ Identification… n Once students have been admitted into the program, parent letters and forms are sent home to begin collecting additional information on each child. This information is used to develop interest-based activities and services. n A Gifted Student Services Plan (GSSP) is created for each student each year that they are in the gifted program. Once a student is identified, they remain in the gifted program throughout their school years unless a parent asks for a student to be removed.
