Modular Design I decided to go for a modular design approach focusing on simplifying the design/build process, cutting material and labor costs, and providing a unique shape. The idea was not completely my own, I studied the Arroyo Housing Plan extensively, which detailed a larger scale modular dormitory with multiple room types. Mostly 1 or 2 bedroom, or loft style rooms. I ended with a suite-style room similar to that of Roger Williams University, in which one suite has 3 two-person bedrooms, housing a total of 6 students.
