We have the ideal location for water related activities - swimming, fishing, kayaking, snorkelling, plus your choice of launch trips to places of interest in the Queen Charlotte Sound. The camp is situated at the head of the bay with a backdrop of native bush. Enjoy one of our native bush walks or conquer Mount Kahikatea with it's breathtaking views. Costs Accommodation & Meals 14400. 00 Return Launch Fares (ex Picton) 2100. 00 Launch Day Trip ($1000 per day min x 2 days) 2000. 00 Interislander 3000. 00 * Too early so wouldn’t give us a quote - call back in 6 months. (Bluebridge said the same. Price is indicative only). Price per student is $370
For this trip to be successful we need help and are looking for adults who: ➢ Are willing to be responsible for a group of 5 -6 students. ➢ Have a good level of fitness (lead morning fitness + walk Mt Kahikatea). ➢ Have first aid training (not necessary but helpful). Activities we need helpers to manage: ➢ Confidence Course / Rocky Shore - 2 helpers ➢ Flying Fox - 1 helper ➢ Kayaking - 1 helper ➢ Fishing - 1 helper ➢ Bouldering Wall - 1 helper ➢ Swimming - 1 helper
Payment We appreciate that there a lot of expenses for families. Parents are welcome to set up automatic payments. It is expected to be fully paid prior to our trip south. Sponsorship Fundraising We have drafted a letter if you would like to seek sponsorship for partial or full financial support and have listed some local businesses you might like to approach.
