WHAT IS COVERED? • Electrical safety-related work practices, safety-related maintenance, and other administrative controls for employee workplaces that are necessary for the practical safeguarding of employees relative to hazards associated with electrical energy • Installation of conductors and equipment that connect to the supply of electricity • Installations used by the electric utility
WHAT IS NOT COVERED? • Installations in ships, watercraft, railway rolling stock, aircraft • Installations of railways for generation, transformation, transmission, or distribution of power • Installations of communications equipment under the control of communications utilities • Installations under the exclusive control of an electric utility
