Selection Process • Began April 2007 with the formation of a committee and a working group. • Mandate from the Chief’s Office: – ‘‘Must have the ability to do everything that can be done at the precinct in the field. ’’

Known issues • TXMessenger queuing • TXMessenger does not queue messages when the MDC is out of the car • ‘MSGO’ recovers last 40 messages received
