New topic: What would Jesus do?

What would you do…? You’re in a shop. You see a pound coin on the floor. Obviously, somebody dropped it. You remember an old saying a friend once taught you: “Finders, keepers; losers, weepers. ” Your friend pulls his cat’s tail really hard. The cat meows, but your friend shrugs. “It doesn’t hurt, ” he says, “that was a laughing meow, you try it. ” Your friend loves to jump out and scare you when you’re in his house. You really can’t stand being startled like that. It makes you scream. Now, he is in your house. You see the perfect opportunity to jump out and scare him in return. In school, everyone was given a some sweets by the teacher and was told not to eat it until you get home. You lost yours on the playground. When you get back to class, you see more sweets sitting on the desk of the child who sits next to you. He is washing his hands, and besides you know he’s allergic to these sweets. Do you just take it?

What is meant…? Read the following and explain what you think each means. 1). . . Love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you. If you do this, you will be true children of your Father in heaven. He causes the sun to rise on good people and on evil people, and he sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong. (NCV) 2) When you pray, don’t talk on and on as people do who don’t know God. They think God likes to hear long prayers. Don’t be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask. (NCV) 3) Don’t judge other people, and you will not be judged. You will be judged in the same way that you judge others. (ICB)

Why are these messages important? Messages like these are important to many Christians and also some non-Christians who try to live their lives in a good way. Why might it be important to many people to have these beliefs to live their lives by?
