Introduction A region is area with common features that set it apart from different areas. There are 5 regions in the United States. They are the Northeast, the Southeast, the Middle. West, the Southwest, and the West. There are 4 regions in New Jersey. They are The Atlantic Coastal Plains, Peidmont, Highlands, and Ridge and Valley.
