Project overview • Design, Build & Facilities Management (DBFM) scheme through hub West Scotland • Programmed for opening March 2016 – start on site late 2014 • 6, 500 square metre building • Replacement for existing health centre and reprovision of a range of other services • Development offers opportunity for improved purpose built environment, promotes closer working and better access for patients
Services • five GP Practices • community dental & general dental practice • social work - children & families, and homeless casework team • community addictions team • physiotherapy and podiatry • treatment rooms and community clinics e. g. mental health, dietetics • NHS specialist children’s services – community paediatric team and child & adolescent mental health teams • health visitors and district nurses • space / rooms for community use • admin / office base for all services
