New Construction Application Process • Builder sends an email requesting new service to SDG&E’s Special. Services. Desk@sdge. com with a list of service addresses (excel spreadsheet) and includes Solar Provider (name of individual) as an authorized company representative on all electric accounts • Special Services Desk will email a list of account numbers to the Builder and Solar Provider within 5 to 7 business days • Solar Provider submits interconnection applications in DIIS under the Traditional or Fast Track process • Builder or Solar Provider accepts Terms & Conditions for each application • Permission To Operate is issued to the Builder/Solar Provider/Customer of Record upon SDG&E’s receipt of the electrical release from the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)* • Seamless transfer when homebuyer (new Customer of Record) calls SDG&E to sign for service *Note: PTO will be issued for the existing application if the AHJ release is received after homebuyer signs for service 2
