Maintain the School’s Policy on Technology Use Chromebooks are to be used for educational purposes only. Chromebooks are the only technology to be used during remote learning: no phones, i. Pad or personal technology.

Helpful Hints for Successful Remote Learning Keep your Chromebook charged at all times. Create a consistent work station; somewhere quiet where one can concentrate on work and online meetings.

Netiquette Rules- when participating on Google Meet…. Never give out personal information online; address, phone numbers, passwords. Treat your teacher and classmates with respect. Respect all opinions posted. Do not type in text lingo. Limit emoticon and emoji use ( unless instructed by teacher ) Avoid slang terms, sarcasm, and insulting remarks. Stay on task. Do not type in ALL CAPS. Take time out to re-read what you will send before you send it. Avoid answering in just YES, NO or “I agree”. Elaborate or explain. Be open- minded. This is a new endeavor for many people.
