Introduction Welcome to Neptune. You are going to learn a whole lot about Neptune today. You are going to learn about Neptune’s equatorial circumference, and distance from the Sun and Earth, and a whole lot more.
Atmosphere Neptune’s atmosphere is made up of helium, gas, and methane. Scientists say that Neptune is made of gas, so if you walk on Neptune you would fall through until you find its inner core Neptunes Storm →
Temperature Range Neptune’s temperature range is in between -300 to -400 degrees fahrenheit. so if you were to go to Neptune in normal clothes you would freeze to death. In order to survive on Neptune you would need to wear a special suit.
Moons Neptune has 14 moons the moons are all different in many ways. all the moons are different sizes, and they are all different shapes.
Distance Neptune is about 750, 000 million miles from the sun and it is the most distant planet from the sun. That is how far Neptune is from the sun.
Rotation and Revolving It takes Neptune 16 hours and 17 minutes to make 1 rotation and it takes Neptune about 165 Earth years to make 1 full revolution. Triton (one of Neptune’s moons) revolves differently than all the other moons so if Triton hits a moon both moons will explode.
