Education and Training Committee - 2020 Task Plan Proposed 2020 Tasks: Deliverables / Products: Government/Industry Liaison Reports • Collaboration with DDR&E (AC) Team on two potential ETC projects: Semi-annual Reports posted on Web-site: • Industry survey of all digital engineering courses and classes for core skillsets. • Development of concerns / best practices for digital engineering and mission engineering programs presented as case studies and helpful use cases. • Advanced Distance Learning (ADL) open API usage project • Under development IEEE Systems Council, Systems Education Technical Committee : • Collaboration with Dr. Charles Pickar on August newsletter. Schedule / Resources Issues / Concerns: Status/Review at regular ETC meetings: • • Under development • Every other month with SED (DC area or virtual) Action: Communication across committees is needed to reuse / update previous industry surveys, development of new survey(s), and solicitation of candidate programs from membership
