President Duties Some of your duties in your Chapter are: • Serve as a member of the chapter executive board • Serve as membership chair and keep the membership records • Send a copy of the membership form of new members to the treasurer and the 1 st vice-president. • Mentor the designated nominee during the transition • Be responsible for all ceremonial supplies. • Be in charge of orientation and induction of new members. • Fill out necrology report on the death of a member and send to state 2 nd vice-president and chapter president.

Chapter Executive Board • Section A. State Executive Board Members The members of the chapter executive board shall be the elected chapter officers and the past chapter president. You may be asked to vote on important items or events throughout the year.

To act in matters requiring immediate action and decision. c. To recommend policies and procedures for consideration by members. d. To establish rules for budget development and approval and for the super vision of chapter finances. 3. Meetings a. Meetings of the chapter executive board shall be held at least once annually. The board may meet at other times upon the call of the chapter president. b. A quorum shall be a majority of the voting members of the board.
