Family life week of Prayer 9 th-15 th February Family life Department 2019 3 The department through the support of the church organized to invite Pr. Abitana Hachamba from Zambia who came and graced the week of prayer. The attendance was great both in Church and online. On a daily basis we were able to share Gods message with the online viewers and the numbers were ranging between 650 to 1000 views.

Young Couples Social Sunday Family life Department 2019 4 The group comprises of couples aged 0 -15 years. They had a Social Sunday at Karura on 31 st March 2019 Pr. Hachamba engaged the couples on a group discussion that addressed various topics in marriage from Finance, Submission and transparency. We had a total of 14 Couples present

Family life week of prayer 22 nd -29 th June Family life Department 2019 The program was graced by Elder and Mrs. Anthony Gordon. It was culminated by a mass wedding that saw 6 couples exchange their vows on Sabbath 5

Family life Department 2019 9 KEY RECOMMENDATIONS PMC to include more programs on family life for the next two years to aid in restoring our families FLC to undertake research on specific books that should accompany the family life programs and camp meeting speakers to recommend the same to members during the family life divisions for further study Owing to the low number of youths attending the programs, FLC to tailor family life programs that suite the young people Special attention to be given to young couples

Family life Department 2019 10 KEY RECOMMENDATIONS • The pastorate to initiate professional counseling sessions for individuals and couples • Enrich family life programs to include handling of nonchurch going spouses and with • financial crisis in marriages • Undertake more sensitization on mass wedding and propose to the pastorate to have it as • a biannual church calendar event • Post events on website/social media groups after each program and provide members with study materials from the speakers
