The Nine Steps of NCLEX 1. Complete Act 31 – Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting - all persons applying for issuance of an initial license shall be required to complete 3 hours of DHS approved training in child abuse as a condition of licensure. Apply for licensing with ONE state board of nursing ($35 -$70 fee). 3. Register and pay fee ($200) to Pearson VUE. 4. Receive Acknowledgement of Receipt of Registration from Pearson VUE by email.

The Nine Steps of NCLEX cont. 5. State Board of nursing makes you eligible in the Pearson VUE system. 6. Receive Authorization to Test (ATT) email from Pearson VUE. 7. Schedule your exam appointment via the internet after you have received the “Green Light” from ATI. 8. Arrive for the exam appointment and present your acceptable identification. 9. Receive your official results from your board of nursing (up to six weeks after your exam).

Confirmation Licensure Application Materials When the CON has been notified that degrees have been conferred: ü ALL students (PA as well as out of state) will receive an email from CON (mxh 60@psu. edu) that NEV has been submitted to the PA SBN. ü Student (out of state) receives email confirmation from CON that your application request has been completed ü Letters, confirmations, transcripts (if sent to CON), etc. , are mailed/submitted per your instructions Remember! you To be successful must follow your Virtual ATI coach’s recommendations. When you have completed their recommendations and are ready, you will receive a “Green Light” to test.
